    Students Conquering Obstacles for the Realization of Employment, (S.C.O.R.E.) is a program developed by Valley Center for the Blind to provide students aged 14-24 with the opportunity to build key skills in order to work towards their goals of gaining meaningful employment. Valley Center for the Blind hosts monthly workshops and an annual summer program to accomplish the following 4 goals:
    1. To prepare and assist the student in transitioning to College or Employment
    2. To learn how to successfully advocate for their needs either at school or work
    3. To confidently socialize with their peers and other members of the community
    4. To expand skills in ILS, Braille, A/T and O&M
    Provides academic and employment services for youth with blindness or visual impairment. Offers opportunities to learn skills for work and college preparation guidance.
